Important updates to payment methods in: COP, ARS, MXN and PEN
To enhance the security and reliability of our payment services, we are implementing updates for several payment methods in Latin American currencies: COP, ARS, MXN, and PEN, at 10:00 on December 17, 2025 (UTC-4).
Please review the changes below and take action in advance. To update your payment method, please first complete or cancel any active orders associated with it.

1. | COP | A new dedicated "COP Bank account" field will be added for Bancolombia and Davivienda S.A. | Please update your payment details with the new "COP Bank account" fields by 10:00 on December 17, 2025 (UTC-4). After this date, the old "Bank account number" field will be removed for Bancolombia and Davivienda S.A. |
2. | MXN | The "Bank account number" field will be replaced by "Bank Account number (CLABE)" for these payment methods: Banco Regional, STP, Afirme, Banco del Bajio, Bank of America, Banorte, BBVA, Citibanamex, HSBC, Inbursa, Klar Bank, Santander, Scotiabank. | Please update your payment details with your 18-digit "Bank Account number (CLABE)" by 10:00 on December 17, 2025 (UTC-4). After this date, the old "Bank account number" field will be removed for these payment methods. |
3. | PEN | A new dedicated "CCI number" field will be added for several payment methods: Bank transfers, Interbank, Scotiabank Peru, and Banco de Credito. | Please update your 20-digit "CCI number" to continue using these payment methods seamlessly. |
4. | ARS | A new validation rule (numbers 0-9 only, length: 22) will be applied to the "CBU/CVU" field for all ARS payment methods that include it. | Please ensure that the correct 22-digit "CBU/CVU" is used for all ARS payment methods that include the "CBU/CVU" field. |
5. | COP, ARS, MXN, PEN, and VES | "Cash in person" will be removed from OKX P2P. You will no longer be able to pay for your P2P orders in COP, ARS, MXN, PEN, and VES via "Cash in person". | Please remove your existing payment information for "Cash in person" by 10:00 on December 17, 2025 (UTC-4). |
How can you update this information?
To continue using payment methods 1, 2, 3, or 4, please take a minute to update your payment details by following these steps in the OKX app:
Go to the P2P profile section, then select Payment Methods.
Select the corresponding currency and payment methods.
Click "Edit" to add the information in the required field.
Save, and it's done.
Updating this information will help us process your transactions more efficiently and reduce the risk of payment errors.
