Crypto narratives change depending on market conditions.
In bear markets, infrastructure takes the spotlight, while in bull markets, applications become the main focus.
Right now, the application narrative of "AI" is primarily dominating the market.
I am an infrastructure engineer, and I have much more to say and know about infrastructure-related topics.
So, when I talk about AI projects like @SentientAGI, it can be a bit challenging. I find myself pretending to know things I don't, repeating myself, and feeling more disillusioned, haha.
Sometimes, I feel a sense of self-doubt when I read what I've written. But what can I do? I just have to endure..
This bull market seems to have an unusually long and tedious cycle.
While some ZK projects make brief appearances, the majority of the narrative is centered around application-level projects.
Even when I’m chatting, I feel most comfortable discussing blockchain core/infrastructure topics. (In fact, I think I had a lot of fun talking about @SonicLabs, even if it was a bit cliché.)
That said, I’m not wishing for a bear market to come. I hope that even in bull markets, infrastructure-level projects can rise to the center of the market occasionally.
The short-term yapping is over, and I finished in 19th place.

Personally, I think the payment market and the DeFi market, where we originally had strengths, could become a new outlet by leveraging the characteristics of Sonic Labs.
